Unitedl Press Association. (Received 8.20 a.m.) San Francisco, March 12. Ten thousand witnessed the dedication of the Australian Pavilion at the Panama Exhibition. iMr Deakin’s' and other speeches were largely pleas for peace.
Mr Clifton, the New Zealand Commissioner thus concluded a brilliant addx-ess: “1 hope your great President will find some way of bringing the warring nations to their senses, and that before tho great exposition doses it’s last day?, will he marked by a conference that will mean an honorable and lasting peace.”,
