DIRECTORS’ MEETING IN A DUGOUT.
An interesting and probably unique rent took place “somewhere in ranee” on December 24th.
All the directors of Vacher and Sons, .limited, the well-known Parliamentary winters of Westminster, are in the •enches, and Messrs A. C. Roberts, 'right and Co., • chartered account.As, recently sent the chairman, Capsin Stanley Low, a resume of the ompauy’s accounts for the past year. The firm has received the following >,musing minute, duly signed by Captains Low and Cox, of the Queen’s .Vestminsters, the third director, a ■iptain in the London Scottosh, not icing present. , “A meeting of the directors of Vacicr and Sons (Ltd.), was held in a “dug-out” in the trenches on December 2tth, 1914. Present: Captain Staney Low, Captain Geoffrey Cox. The iirectors present were unable to deal vith the minutes of the last meeting •ing to the absence of the minute’ook. The accounts received from the 'iinpany’s auditors for the financial >ar ended September 30th, 191 I, were •msidered and approved, subject to ■onfirmation at the general meeting of "be company. The directors present •egretted the absence of their col''>ague. Captain Claude Low. whose whereabouts at the Front is unknown to them.
