The Commodities Commission re. cemraended an increase of sixpence per case on petroleum and kerosene, owing to increased freights from America.

Mr Black advocating the Tote Bill, declared the bookmaker was a parasite who could easily., be dispensed with. THE PRICE OF DRINKS. The recent rise in the prices of drinks lias largely the bulk of the publicans reverting to the old order of things.
