Stratford bowlers journeyed to Opunake yesterday, and played the Opunake Club, the scores being as follows (Opunake score ■ - .•mentioned first): Hammond, Warner, Judson, Macfie (s) 13, C. W. Skoglund (s) 19. The total score was Stratford 63, Opunake'sl. The bowlers were kindly at'lunch by the Opunake Club at the Opunake Hotel, and after a pleasant time they left for Pihama. At the conclusion of the game the visitors were entertained by the Pihama Club to tea, and the party left for home dboiit 6 o'clock. The play 'on the Opunake green took place in fair weather, hul a little rain fell towards the close. At Pihama, however, the weather,was not .so pleasant, the latter part of the game was played in the rain. Altogether, an enjoyable day was spent. Those conveying the parties by motor were: Messrs A. J. Davey", E. Jackson, J. Donald, H. Gollop, and J. McMillan.
