His Honor Mr Justice Hosking sat in the Supreme Court, Auckland., this morning, to consider the application to have the petition against Mr Vernon Reed’s election for Bay of Islands removed from the file on the ground that it was not lodged, within the legal time. His Honor stated" tha t this involved a point to be decided by the full court at Wellington on March 22nd. A motion to amend one clause in the petition was agreed to by consent.—P.A.

The required seven thousand £5 shares, to establish a Farmers’ Co-op. Freezing Works at Taihape with a capacity of 1000 sheep and sixty cattle per day have been subscribed.
