Mr Masters will advocate,' for the purpose of beautifying the gardens in the } town, that consumers of electric current should not be charged for light used for that purpose in the shape of Chinese lantern effects, •etc., because they have already .paid for current consumed in the house. Mr Masters pays water rates for a house ■'Supply, and wants his hose caps for nothing. He.would, therefore, surely .<r.equire electricity for beautifying purposes, because he paid for house light. —Yours,’etc., WATERMADL
