WEALTHY RESIDENTS LEAVE FOR SCANDINAVIA. WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIGHT FOR BREAD.

United Press Association. (Received 10 a.m.) Amsterdam, February 24. A number of the. wealthiest people have left Germany for Scandinavia for the sake of getting pure bread. Riots occurred yesterday in several cities, and there is much discontent. At Magdeburg, where there is insufficient bread, the women and children endeavored to loot the shops, but the police suppressed the outbreak.
