HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Thursday’s new series o pictures to lie screened at Bernard’s include the greatest variety of up-to-date subjects. The star drama is “The Angel of Contention.” The comedy element is headed by Keystone’s terrific laugh-ter-getter, “Laughing Gas.” “The Voice of Silence” is an Edison masterpiece drama full of stirring incidents. The latest “Gaumont War Graphic” embraces the latest doings at the front, also an acted verse of Chappie’s poem, “The Day.” “Scenes in Rome” is a vivid scenic of this ancient city. “How Fruit is Crystalised” (educational), “Hees-a-Liars.” “African Adventures.” On Saturday night Keystone’s lengthy comedy will once more introduce the world-famous comedian, “Chas. Chaplin,” in the knock out.
