VISITORS FROM OHURA.

PROGRAMME OF ENTERTAINMENT BY S'TRATFORDITEdT The committee of the Stratford Chamber ol' Commerce met last night, and concluded arrangements for the entertainment of the Ohura settlers, who arrive on Thursday night. On Friday the visitors will he conveyed by motor cars through the district, Xgaere factory being visited first. After passing through Eltham. Mr G. Turner’s farm will he visited, and l)is Shorthorn cattle inspected. Then Mr H. Best’s Romney sheep will engage attention, and from there the party will proceed to inspect Mr J. Forbes’ purebred sheep and Hereford cattle and Mr 11. Linn’s -‘Jersey herd. After lunch in Hawera, if time permits, Mr J. Oughton’s draught horses will be seen.

On Friday evening the visitors will lie entertained at a dinner in the Foresters’ Hall. Tickets for this can be obtained from Air H. E. Lawrence (lion, sec.), or from Air J. 13. Richards (President) of the Chamber of Commerce.

The visitors depart on Saturday, but before doing so they will meet the members of the Chamber of Commerce to discuss matters of mutual interest.
