Uniteu Press Association. (Received 9.40 a.m.) Sydney, February 9. In the Assembly Mr Holman (Premier) stated that the Norton Griffiths arrangement had practically reached finality. He added that no difficulty, would be experienced in obtaining legal authority for the transaction.
STATE CONTROL OF LKJUOR IN NORTHERN TERRITORY.

The Federal Government has decided to take the liquor trade in the Northern Territory into its own hands, owing to the fact that the men employed oil railway construction are being supplied, with bad liquor. *
