Per Press Association. Dunedin, February 4. Alexander Baden Powell Paterson, aged 10, died suddenly last evening as the result of an injury to his head, received while playing with other boys. It is unknown whether he fell or was struck on the head, but apparently died from injury to the brain. Wanganui, February 4. A nine-year-old boy named Sydney Mann was drowned in the river at Aramoho this afternoon. Deceased and a sister were bathing. The body was recovered half an hour later, but life was extinct.
