TURKS EVACUATE SINAI PENIN-
SULA.
United Press Association. (Received 11.15 a.m.) Rome, December 21. Official.—The Turks have evacuated 3inai Peninsula.
(The Peninsula of Sinai lies between the Gulf of Akabah and Suez at the head of the Red Sea, and comprises 11,055 square miles, mostly desert. Mount Sinai (the Aral Tebel Musa or "Mt. of Moses," called also Horeb, is me of the numerous mountains with in altitude of 7363 feet).
