WARSAW BOMBED BY ZEPPELIN Unitkd Press Association. Rome, December 21. Warsaw papers state that a Zeppelin dropped eighteen bombs in Warsaw in December. Two ho'.ises were demolished, ninety civilians killed, and fifty wounded.

Petrograd, December 20
Official: Serious engagements occurred at certain points on the left bank of the Vistula, between Bzura and Rawka. We attacked two companies of the enemy, who crossed to B/Aira, near Dakhovo. Many of the enemy were taken prisoners, and quickfirers captured. The Austrian sortie at Przemsyl failed. The force was caught on the flank and touted, and a number taken prisoners. Official: The remainder of two companies attempting to cross at Bzuia has been annihilated.. Vienna, December 21.
Official: We were successful on the Krosho-Zachliezyra front at Latoreza. A great battle is developing in the Laupkow pass. A strong Russian force has appeared in Galicia.

The Messageros' Petrograd correspondent confirms the news of the comolete defeat of the Germans northward of the Vistula, and of their being driven back into East Prussia. LODZ EVACUATED. Information from a Berlin source an. nonncea that the Germans evacuated Lodz, fearing an enveloping movement in eonseouence of the Russians penetrating Prussia.
