.BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES. CBT Elbotrio TbIBGBAPH—CoPYBIGHIJ United Press Association. Sydney, November 27. The Bank "of New South Wales' half-yearly report shows a net profit of £246,323. The report stated that the bank had never been in a better position to meet the unexpected state of affairs. MT. LYELL COMPANY. * _ (Received 0.30 a.m.) Melbourne, November 28. At the half-yearly meeting of the Mt. Lyell Company the chairman said he was disappointed in being unable in declare a dividend, but fortunate in being able to continue operations, though he did not like accepting the low prices. Since the war 3,300 tons of copper had been sold at £52 6s, and they could sell now more than they had for sale.
