TAUMARUNUI SEAT.

(Special to "Post.") .Otorohanga, November 28

The Kawhia portion of the Taumarunui electorate was visited -by Mr Jennings, Liberal candidate, during the past week. At Waitangaru, Kiohaku, Marokopa, Terauamoa, Putaki and Hangitiki votes of thanks and confidence in the candidate were carried with enthusiasm. At Otorohanga last night the hall was packed, many being unable to get in. The candidate received an enthusiastic hearing, a motion of thanks and confidence defeating an adverse amendment overwhelmingly. THE WANGANUI SEAT.

Pee Pbess Association. - Wanganui, November 28 Mr J. T. Hogan, Liberal candidate for Wanganui, opened his campaign to a crowded audience in the Opera House last night. The candidate vindicated the policy of the Liberal Party and criticised the Reform administration. He was given a capital hearing and accorded a vote of thanks and 'appreciation of his services during his six years in Parliament, and confidence' in him as Libera! candidate. The meeting concluded with cheers for Mr Hogan and Sir Joseph Ward.

Mr J. B. Hine addressed the electors of Denbigh Road yesterday, at noon, and in spite of the very, wet day a fair gathering turned out to hear the candidate. Mr G. S. Ferguson was voted to the chair Mr Hine dealt with the platform of the "Reform" Party in a straightforward manner, and was listened to attentively right throughout. At the eonn'usioiv'of the address a vote of thanks and confidence in Mr Hi.-.o and the "Reform Party" was camel. Tjie usual vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.—(Own Coi respondent). There was a very good attendance at Cardiff last night to listen to Mr J. B. Hine. Mr Bluett took the chair. At the close a vote of thanks and confidence in Mr Hine and the Massey Government was passed unaimouslv.
