[To Txifl E<ofc STRATfonn Post.] JSir, —In your issue of Wednesday, you publish an account of a deputation that complained to,the Mayor "of Dunedin about German firms trading in that city. As the English Government has made it a penal offence to deal with German firms, the question is: How is the public to know which are the German firms? I think the Government should appoint an official with power to inspect the share list oi any company, and if necessary, have it stamped out.—l am, etc., D. MAXWELL.
