MAORIS FROM WANGANUI.

Twenty-five Maoris left Wanganui to-day enronte to Auckland, when* they join the native section of tin* Expeditionary Force. They were given a hearty and enthusiastic' sendoff at the local station.
NEWS OF THE SlCfc AT SAMOA. Wellington, October 19. The Governor has received the following communication from the Administrator of Samoa: The general health of the troops is good. Following is the sick list: Appendicitis, Major Boore (recovered); pneumonia, Brocket ; dysentery, Corporals Tangnoy and Collier (railway engineers), Boddington ( sth Regiment), Privates Small (Railway Engineers), Stanley (Railway Engineers), Harnsby (3rd Regiment), Sergeant Anderson (Army Service Corps); fever, Privates Collingham (3rd Regiment), Allison and 801 l (Railway Engineers), Onayle (Army Service Corps), James (sth Regiment); rheumatism, ’ Broughton (Railway Engineer). All are doing well except the pneumonia case.
