GOOD NEWS FROM THE CAPE. United Press Association. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Capetown, October 1. The commandos which fought in the Boer war aro flocking to General Botha's- standard. The Union forces have had further small successes at Graszplatz and Reitfontein. REMARKABLE RESPONSE BY OUR OLD ENEMIES. (Received 8 a.m.) In response to General Botha's appeal, complete commandos which served under him in the Boer War are volunteering. GERMAN POSITIONS SURPRISED AND CAPTURED. -London. October 2. African forces surprised and captured several Gorman positions in the vicinity of Ltuleritjio. There were no casualties.
