BERNARD'S P«CTU«F« The hi* picture. "Tin- Midnight 'mi," screened at Bernard's last night. ; s a sensational drama. One of the ifreat scenes in this play is a big coal •nine disaster, showing the mining town in flames, the explosion in the mine, men imprisoned in the earth's bowels, the rescue party, and men trying to save comrades, the disabling >f the cages, and the men suffocated. It is a wonderful picture and gives n rood idea of the terrible Huntly disaster. Other fine pictures arc: "The Mexican's Gratitude" (drama), "On the Silver Coast" ("scenic), "The Warwick Chronicle." The comedies include "Diana's Dress Reform," "From Janitor to Artist," "Gertie Gets the 3ash." The augmented orchestra played big selections, dreamy waltzes. Tango and Ragtime.
The Management have secured the big war film by Pathe Company (colored), "The Curse of War," in three nets, and "The Panama Canal of Yesterday, and To-day." These will be screened to-morrow night.
