The various sections' of the Science Congress met at the University and 'discussed a number of papers. Subsequently, the local societies tendered a reception. In the evening Dr. Dyson lectured on the Greenwich Observatory, and Professor Dixon on explosions. The visitors depart for Sydney by special train to-day in readiness for the opening of the Congress on Thursday.
