INTER-STATE CONFERENCE.

1915 TO 1918 TOURING TEAMS.

(Received 10.15 a.m.) Sydney, August 19.

A conference of the New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand Rugby Unions agreed on a programme covering a period and comprising tours of Australian teams in New Zealand in 1915 and 1917, and New Zealand teams in Australia in 1916 and 1918, each tour consisting of seven matches, two being tests. The nett proceeds will he divided, forty per cent, to the home union and thirty per cent to the other unions. Other points dealt with were the appointment of referees, ordered-off arid injured players and interchange of rulings. A clause 'was added that by agreement an injured player may be replaced at any period of 'the game with the consent of tin l opposing captain. The New South Wales union has already, adopted the agreement.
