POLITICAL
Air W. Morrison, who has been selected as the Liberal candidate for the Patca scat, is a member of the Waitotqra County Council, with which he has been connected for nearly 9 years. He has been chairman of the Maxwelltown School Committee for several years, and was elected to a seat oh the Wanganui Harbor Board at last election. Air Morrison lias been a volunteer for 20 years, having been in command of the Queen Alexandra Mounted -Rifles for eight cyars, and is at present a captain on the reserve of officers. He is a Justice of the Peace, having received his commission in 1902. Mr Alorrison \ intends, at an early date, to visit this end of the electorate so as to get into personal touch with the electors.
