TWEED HEADS TRAGEDY.
THE BODIES RECOVERED. j [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, July 22. The bodies of Arnold and Piggott, missing from the Tweed Heads disaster, have been found, both naked and much decomposed. Sharks had not touched them. A cablegram on the 11th inst stated : —Last night a fishing party of thirteen was returning from Tweed Heads when their launch capsized three-quar-ters of a mile from land. Six managed to reach the shore in an exhausted condition. The body of a seventh, A. Buchanan, drifted ashore, and six are missing, namely, A. Arnold, C. Gibson, G. Pigott, Freeney, J. Barrett, and Badfiain, A tugboat was prevented from crossing-the bar to search for the missing men, owing to the high sea running. Another vessel went out, but signalled late last night that her search bad been .unsuccessful. The other .Ifodies*\vei;e recoiled.
