DIVISION RESULTS IN A TIE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) Sydney, July 22. In the early morning a vote was taken in the Assembly on the question of closing the debate on Mr Wade’s amendment to the Address-in-Reply, and resulted in a tie—39 to 39. On the Speaker’s casting vote, the debate was kept open and still continues.
