Bell,, in moving the adjournment of the Council until 2.30 p.m. on Friday, offered to Sir Charles Bowen, who had been made a K.C. M.G., the heartiest congratulations on' :he honor. His remarks were endorsed by Hons. •Jenkinson and Mills. Bir Charles Bowen expressed his thunks for the kind way in which they had recognised his services to the Council. Leave of absence for the session .vas granted to Sir Henry Miller, The Council jidjourned at 3.30 p.m.
