WAS IT A TRICK? [By Elsotbic Telegraph—Copyright] illNiTKn Press Association..] (Received 9.6 a.m.) London, June 24. “Truth” states: “The transfer of the battleship New Zealand as Admiral Moore’s flagship* of the second squadron to the Mediterranean will not be viewed with approval by the Dominion, which considers the Home Government has not kept faith. If the Admiralty and the Dominion has not agreed to station the vessel in Dominion waters, or if the agreement has been waived, an official statement should have been made, for the idea that we got the ship by a trick is not likely to stimulate the enthusiasm of the New Zealand taxpayers.
