A BOMB IN A CHURCH.

A bomb was discovered in the porch of St. Mark’s church, Reading, following a threat to destroy it. The fuse had been lighted. A WINDOW-SMASHING CROWD. Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, June 23. A woman and her daughter, suffragettes, were released at Andover on completion of their sentence for assault. They were escorted by the townspeople, who riotously smashed windows and attacked the police. Later the police charged, injuring several in the crowd. The rioters then marched up the main street, smashing all the windows and lamps.
