The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon aa foDows:— The indications are for:—Variable and strong breezes, but westerly winds moderate to strong prevailing and freshening after about 24 hours. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy wearier. Barometer little movement, but has a falling tendency.
