The Derby.
ROYALTIES TO BE PRESENT PRECAUTION AGAINST OUTRAGE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [Unttep Press Association.] (Received 9.45 a.in.) London, May 20. The King and Queen will attend the Derby. Special precautions are being taken at Tattenham Corner in view of the 1913 outrage, when a suffragette Miss Emily Davison, made a dash at Anmer, the King’s horse, with the result that a bad smash took place. Anmer fell and threw his jockey, Herbert Jones, and so seriously injured the woman that she died subsequently in the hospital. There will be a large force of police, and triple rails will exclude the public.
The police are doing sentry-go outside the King’s horse, Brakespeare’s stable day and night, also at Kenneymore’s box.
