Auckland, May 22. j A collision occurred to-day between a train and a cart at the Onslow road railway crossing, Kingsland. A haver’s cart, driven by Carlton Hopworth, was crossing the line, when the train struck the horse, carrying it with the shafts of the vehicle atioss the cattle stops. The horse was killed, the cart was greatly damaged, Inft Hepworth jumped clear, sustaining only minor injuries. This crossing is particularly dangerous. A similar accident, with fatal results, occurred there a few months ago.
