MR N. J. KING EXPLAINS.
> Sir, —Mr Kirkwood, when addressing the electors list evening, strove to make an.effective point of ray being one guarantor among nine others for the Stratford Electrical Supply Company. This fact of course has been publicly known and never at any time been denied by myself. The other eight guarantors are all men of substance, and, in addition, are hardheaded, solid, business men. Therefore lam in good company. All s*" these men and the Bank that advanc- • ed the money, and also the public, know that the security for the advances is ample and sound. One matter . which is of the utmost importance, and one which Mr Kirkwood was unfair and ungenerous enough to suppress altogether, was the fact that by arrangement with the Bank the amount is automatically , reduced, so that by the, entl of the Company’s concession the whole advanced will bo wiped out and the guarantors relieved from any farther liability. All further points in Mr Kirkwood’s, address that need attention will be dealt with by me on the platform this evening, and 1 cordially invite the burgesses to what I have to say.— l ajn, etc-, T , N. J. KING.
