' • ,[To The Editor Stratford Post.] gir,—l entirely agree with Mr *• Jgarkwood when lie warns the elecV of Stratford of the danger that may arise if the license to the Company is not strenuously opposed by a Mayor not in any way identified with the Electrical Supply Company. Mr Kirkwood, in dealing with Mr —King’s close connection with the Elec- ; trical Supply Company, could have pointed out further that the guarantors, of which Mr King is one, receive a bonus of £126, from the Company, for guaranteeing the bank overdraft, as shown in the balance-sheet of the Company of 19i3. Surely, with the whole of the facts now placed before us, the burgesses will insist once and for all that at to-mor-row’s poll' the Company will not be permitted to dominate the Borough. To conclude, I cannot but admire tne sterling services our present Mayor, Mr W. P. Kirkwood, has rendered to the Borough at this juncture. — I am, I etc. If- w. h. h. young;
