ROYAL VISIT TO FRANCE.
RETURN TO LONDON. [By Electric Telegraph —Copyright] [United Press Association.) Loudon, April 25. The King and Queen have returned from France. The King, on arrival at Dover, replying to an address, said: “We'will never forget the warmth and enthusiasm of our reception in France, and I hope this genuine proof of friendship and good feeling towards Great Britain on the part of the French nation will be fully realised by my people.’’ The Queen Mother Alexandra awaited the train at the Victoria railway station, and King George, on alighting, kissed her cm both cheeks. Queen Mary likewise embraced her. The spontaneous cheers given for France with which their Majesties were greeted on the way from Victoria station to Buckingham Palace, showed that the visit was as popular here as in France.
