BATTLE CRUISERS RACE. THE CHANNEL CHAMPIONSHIP. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.0 a.in.) London, April 22. The battlecruisers Lion, Queen Mary. Princess Royal, and New Zealand started level in the Channel and attained full speed as quickly as possible. The New Zealand quickly distanced the others. All were nearly hidden by the walls of water forced up in front of these floating fortresses. Racing astern for the Channel championship, the Queen Mary was first, followed by the Lion and the Princess Royal, while the New Zealand was a had fourth.
