STRATFORD RACING CLUB.

At a special meeting of the Committee of the Stratford Racing Club held last evening, Mr A. Budge presiding, the finance sub-committee set up to arrange with regard to advances (Messrs W. P. Kirkwood and W, H. H. Young) reported that they had succeeded in arranging with the National Bank of Now Zealand, Ltd., to obtain the necessary amount required on satisfactory terms, on security of the Club’s property without guarantee of any kind. The report was adopted and a unanimous vote of thanks accorded Messrs Kirkwood and Young on the chairman’s motion.
