HIS MAJESTY'S PICTURED

A fairly large audience witnessed he new series' of art films at Berlard's Amusement House last night. The star feature is a beautiful col-)i-ed fairy story, "Psyche and the ,'upid." Tli acting, dressing, and nountings are superior to any previous Pathe production. "The Auckland Cup" is a splendid clear picture, jvhich shows the race from jtart to finish, and. amongst the crowds one can recognise many wellknown Auckland sports. "The Inspector's Peril" is a thrilling Kalem railroad drama. vThe comic portion ncludes Keystone's best, also .Join. Bunny and Flora Finch in their limit laughter-raisers. On Monday evening the Rex drama, "Tho Diamond Makers" will be screened. Tho dianond maker, an Indian, sends to folia for Sheidah to help him dispose tf his diamonds. Kimherley, an •mployer, engages Detective Westesiay to find out the source of the glut of diamonds on the market. He finds out who it is, and then there is a chase after the gang. Tho detective gets worsted all the way untvj the end, when the diamond maker convrnits 'suicide. It is impossible to describe the incidents—there are so many following in succssion. "The Last Topical Budget" and also the first series of Dickens' famous Pickwick and the Shooting Party, wth John Bunny in the leading role, are said to be excellent. Tho new heating apparatus has arrived, and will be installed early in the next week, ;o patrons can rely on viewing the show in perfect comfort. As usual, the music is of the latest and host procurable.

TOWN HALL PICTURES. An appreciative audience was prelent at the Town Hall last night, when lie programme was shown for the last ;ime. To-night there will he a compete change, introducing the star picHire by Aquilla, "The Court Dancer." This film is a magnificent and brilliant Irama 2000 ft, and will show bcauticul dresses and courtly dancing, with i thrilling plot running through. 'Fatiina" is an excellent drama and hould please all. There are two scenes, eclipsing any shown yet and supwrted by "Guilty Baby," "Th<* •slave*," "Suspicious Miss Brown," "Confidence," "Aquatic Elephants," vnd "Versailles Fountains." The nusic is all that could be desired and a 'me entertainment is assured to all it usual prices.
