is understood that the executive replied to the effect that each competitor must sign the .'necessary declaration set out by the Inter-State Conference, as it revives the question, are New Zealand oarsmen amateurs according to the New South Wales definition ? TENNIS. The following will represent Stratford in the match against Eltham on the local green to-morrow Men: Anderson, Cameron, Crawshaw, Wilson,. Fussell, Thompson, P. Wright, Dr. Paget. Ladies: Miss Fussell, Mrs Robinson, Miss Mackay, Mrs Paget, Mrs Budge, Miss O’Brien. Any of the above unable to play are requested to notify the secretary.
