eastern in excellent CONDITION. TBt ELECTBIO TKLB6BAPH—OoPTRIGfIT 1 Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 10.40 a.m.) -- Sydney, March 25. The cable steamer Patrol has returned after overhauling the Eastern cable between Botany Bay and Nelson. The actual cost of the repairs was £25,000. The cable, which was laid in 1876, was found to be in a better condition than the new one, though both are in excellent condition.
