A court martial at Metz sentenced Lieut. You Lavalette Saint George to 24 years’ confinement in a fortress, and dismissal from the.army for killing Lieut. Haage in a duel on February 2. The Court, was of opinion that defendant caused thb duel by grievously insulting Haage’s family honor.
