EXPENDITURE FOR 1913. INCREASE PER HEAD, 19s [Per Prem Association. 1 Wellington, March 20. ■ The annual statement of the New Zealand drink bill for 1913, furnished by the temperance authorities, gives a total of £4,137,653, made up as follows : Spirits £1,753,538 Wines £295,112 . Imported Beer ... £89,763 New Ze-ala rid Beer ... £2,000,420 For IDI2 the total was £4,081,162. The increase is £56,491, but, taken per head of the population, the amount last year was £3 14 s per head, against £2 14s Ilia in 1912.
