RIFLE SHOOTING. (By Bisley.) On Thursday afternonn fifteen members of the Rifle Club turned up to fire the first .stage of Masters and Son's cup at 300, 500 and 600 yards. The day was very difficult for shooting. A shifty fish-tail was blowing, which upset all the competitors. Rifleman P. Hopson headed the day's scores with 89, and Rifleman Thorpe made top score off the rifle, 87. The following are the highest ten scores:—
