SIX DAYS’ CYCLING.
RACE IN NEW YORK. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright j [Unitko -Press association.! (Received 1.10 p.m.) New York, December 8. The six days’ bicycle race lias started. McNamara (Australia) with Root (New York) is making good headway. The Australian team (Clarke and Hehir) was prominent in the ehrly stages. Carman, one of the Germans, was injured when the team fell at a tinning. The Melbourne team includes Noran of Massachusetts, and Gienda (Tasmania). The Tasmanian team consists of Walker and Pye.
