Hudson’s Bay officials report the rescue of a party of Esquimaux who had been marooned for ten years on an island iti the Far North. It appeals that ten were carried off on an iceberg and landed on the island. Several children were born and two members of theqparby. died during the decade. Ships avoided the island in consequence* of magnetic disturbances. The Esquimaux* were able to live on seal meat, and when rescued were in good health.
