The Government' Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows:
The indications are for northerly strong winds to gale and veering by north to west. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Ihe barometer has a falling tendency. Rain probable.
