The Avondale races were cqntinued to-day in line weather. The course is in good order and the attendance large. Results: — Kingsland Handicap.—W atchchaiii 1, Merrimax 2, Vestal 3. All started. Won by two lengths. -Time, 3 min 20 2-ssec.
■Nursery Handicap.—Castalia 1, Delenda 2, Shepherd’s Bush 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, 49 4-ssec.
Avondale Guineas.—Merry Roe 1. Marconi 2, Soultikoff 3. Also ran; Brookfield, Tinopai and Rosea. Won by three and a half lengths. Time linin 41 3-ssec.
Plumpton Handicap.—Prince Merriwee 1, Royal Arms 2, Tiresome 3 All started. Won by two lengths Time, Imin 55 4-ssec.
