The following sentences were passed in the Supreme Court: Patrick McNamara, arson and making a false 'declaration, three years; William O’Leary, principal offender in the Matawai assault case, four yeai s, Angus Lamont, 3-J years; Frank Duggan, 3 years ; Samuel Crago Toms, common assault, 12 months’ probation; Chas. Edmund Ratcliffe, theft, 18 months’ reformative treatment; Arthur Moore, blackmail, 12 months’ reformative treatment.
