A BARQUE OVERDUE.

THE WANGANUI’S VOYAGE

[Per Press Association.] Greymouth, September 20

The barque Wanganui, which left Grafton on August 23 for Grey is considerably overdue, having been out four weeks, whereas the passage usually takes from a week to ten days. On the 14th the vessel appeared in the offing, but owing to the heavy sea it was impossible to make port. She put to sea, and has not since been sighted. The Harbour Board tug put to sea on a two days’ search and is expected to return to port to-night. Up to noon there is no news.
