FIRE ON S.S. RAKAIA.
LITTLE DEFINITE INFORMATION [By Electric Telegraph—Copyrighi [United Press Association.] (Received 9.45 a.m.) Perth, August 20. The steamer • llakaia, wheat laden, on route to Cardiff, arrived at Albany for hunkering purposes with a lire it 1 No. 3 hold. The discharge of the cargo into lighters was immediately commenced. Smoke rendered the work very difficult. The actual scat of the fire lias not keen located. It is impossible yet to estimate the damage.
