CASES IN SYDNEY. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Assoourcms.« Sydney, August 13. Seven cases of smallpox were reported to-day, including a member of the League team chosen to visit New Zealand.
NEW ZEALAND OFFICIAL BULLETIN. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, August 13. The following smallpox bulletin has been issued by the deputy-chief health officer to-night:— The-district health officer in Auckland (Dr. Monk) reports that no fresh cases have been reported in Auckland since yesterday’s report. A suspected case is reported at Birkenhead. ' ,
Four fresh cases are reported at Kaikohe. - 0 ii •! TPIE POP,ANGARAU - CASE. ;■■}! Waipawa, August .1.4. The suspected case of smallpox at Porangahau proves to lie chickenpox. The native has been isolated.
