A policeman waving an American flag iii the face of a member ol the Industrial Workers of the World who was declaiming on Socialism in a street at Salt Lake City, caused a riot.

The Industrial Workers attacked the policeman. Other police were called out, and fired on the mob with revolvers, wounding seven.
